Board of Directors
Energy Northwest’s Board of Directors provides strategic oversight of new project development. The board comprises one representative from each member utility.
The Revised Code of Washington (RCW 43.52.370) grants the board authority. The powers and duties of the board of directors include final authority on any decision to purchase, acquire, construct, terminate or decommission any Energy Northwest facility.
Member utilities appoint a representative to the board of directors .
The board of directors elects five of its members to serve on the Energy Northwest Executive Board. Additionally, the board of directors appoints three individuals from outside the organization to serve on the executive board.
