​​​​​​Energy Northwest is pleased to work with contractors and vendors throughout the United States. Businesses wishing to provide products and services to Energy Northwest are required to comply with the following general provisions; and must be registered to work in the state of Washington.

Prevailing Wages

As a municipal corporation and joint operating agency of the state of Washington, all work for Energy Northwest is subject to prevailing wages in accordance with RCW 39.12.

Prevailing wage information: Labor & Industries

Washington State Public Records Act (RCW 42.56)
Information submitted to Energy Northwest becomes public record. Without exception by the presenting party, the information is subject to public disclosure pursuant to the Washington State Public Records Act RCW 42.56.

Washington State Sales Tax

Energy Northwest is responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax to the Washington State Department of Revenue.

​​​Real ID 

Energy Northwest will be required to enact the conditions of the Real ID Act, passed by Congress in 2005. This change is required to be in effect as of May 7, 2025. The Real ID Act establishes identification requirements for accessing federal government facilities, nuclear power plants, and for boarding airline flights in the U.S. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will provide Energy Northwest with further information at a date yet to be determined.
