Robert Jungers was appointed to the Wahkiakum County Public Utility District Board of Commissioners in April 2005 and was elected to the board in November 2006 and again in November 2012. He was appointed to the Energy Northwest Board of Directors in 2011.
Mr. Jungers has extensive public service history: 30 years as a reserve sheriff’s deputy, 10 years as a planning commissioner and six years as a diking district commissioner, as well as eight years with the PUD board.
A resident of Wahkiakum County since 1981, he worked in agriculture until starting Elochoman Millwork in 1985 where he is presently general manager and owner. The firm specializes in high-end custom doors and millwork, employing 20 people In Wahkiakum County.
