Christine Grant was elected to the Whatcom County PUD Commission in 2020 and is the Commission Vice President for 2023. She was appointed the the Energy Northwest Board of Directors in January 2023. Christine’s work experience includes teaching energy policy at Western Washington University’s Institute for Energy Studies and serving as a public policy consultant for electric cooperatives, public utilities and municipalities across the country. She served on the Board of Directors of Spark Northwest, a non-profit promoting community-scale clean energy in the Pacific Northwest and was a member of the City of Bellingham’s Climate Action Task Force.
She has a B.A. degree in Environmental Studies from Wellesley College. Christine resides in Bellingham with her husband and two children.
