Jeremy Hauger

Vice President for Engineering

​​Jeremy Hauger​ joined Energy Northwest in 2008 and became vice president for Engineering in June 2022. He is responsible for overall operation of the engineering departments that support Columbia Generating Station. Prior to becoming vice president, he was the Technical Services manager, System Engineering manager, and a design engineer. It was in these roles where he developed a deep understanding of Energy Northwest’s development of the long-range plan, equipment reliability and engineering programs.

Additionally, Jeremy has worked in the Maintenance department as transformer yard coordinator where he managed large maintenance projects and coordinated maintenance activities with Bonneville Power Administration transmission groups.  Previously, he worked as a planner and field engineer for Williams Plant Services in support of Columbia Generating Station.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Washington State University. He served in the United States Navy from 1998 to 2004 as an electrician (nuclear) where he completed the Naval Nuclear Program and qualified as a Load Dispatcher and Shutdown Reactor Operator.  He earned a Boiling Water Reactor System management certification at Columbia Generating Station in 2012 and has completed a variety of technical and leadership trainings.
