Alex Javorik

​​​​Alex Javorik was named vice president for Engineering Projects in August 2019 after serving as vice president for Engineering. Prior to joining EN, Alex served as a senior evaluator at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO).

Prior to INPO, Alex worked at Exelon for more than 30 years holding a wide-range of positions including Senior Director of Power Uprate, Nuclear Oversight Performance Assessment director, Project Management director, Corporate Engineering director and Corporate Functional Area manager (CFAM), Equipment Reliability High Intensity Team director, and Chief Engineer of Plant Engineering. Additionally, he spent 16 years at the Byron Nuclear Generating Station where he supported initial plant testing and held leadership positions in Plant Engineering, Chemistry, and Operations.  He also worked at LaSalle and Quad Cities stations where he was manager of Plant Engineering and Maintenance respectively.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He has also held a senior reactor operator license at Byron and has a vast variety of technical and managerial certifications and training.​
