Appointed to the Executive Board by Gov. Jay Inslee, John Saven retired as founder and CEO of Northwest Requirements Utilities, representing BPA’s full requirements customers. His 44-year public power career began at Seattle City Light and included leadership roles at Northwest Irrigation Utilities and Northwest RiverPartners. He holds a bachelor’s in political science from Syracuse University and a master’s in public administration from the University of Washington. He enjoys community involvement and resides in Oregon State with his family.
