Alex Javorik joined Energy Northwest in 2011. He is currently the senior vice president, chief projects officer. Alex is responsible for Fuel Procurement and Project Management of License Renewal and Power Uprate. Prior to joining Energy Northwest, Alex served as a senior evaluator at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO).
Prior to INPO, Alex worked at Exelon for over 30 years holding a wide-range of positions. While at corporate headquarters he was Senior Director of Power Uprate, Nuclear Oversight Performance Assessment Director, Project Management Director, Corporate Engineering Director, Equipment Reliability Team Director, Midwest Region Engineering Director and Chief Engineer of Plant Engineering.
Additionally, Alex spent 16 years at the Byron Nuclear Generating Station, where he received his Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) and served as Control Room Supervisor/Shift Technical Advisor (STA).
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and has a variety of technical and managerial certifications and training.
