American Public Power Association DEED
The APPA’s Demonstration of Energy & Efficiency Developments (DEED) program funds research, pilot projects and education to improve the operations and services of public power utilities.
DEED delivers on this mission through:
- Supporting cutting-edge utility projects and demonstrations
- Providing scholarships for utility internships
- Sharing research findings and best practices
- Offering resources to enhance public power research and development
DEED is more than 950 public power utilities, joint action agencies, state and regional associations, and federal service contractors strong. Members are diverse in size, location and research experience. Any public power utility, joint action agency, or state/regional association that is a member of APPA may join the DEED program for a fee.
Energy Northwest members who join through our Joint Operating Agency subscription receive a significant membership discount.
