Energy Northwest corporate and most other facilities are in the vicinity of the Columbia Generating Station nuclear power plant. This is a high-security area. Please note that the following items are prohibited in this area: explosives, incendiary devices, alcoholic beverages, marijuana, illegal drugs, controlled substances without a prescription, firearms, ammunition, chemical agents, self-defense sprays (such as mace, pepper spray, etc.), Tasers and other self-defense items. Violators are subject to criminal prosecution.
Please check your vehicle for any of these prohibited items before driving to Energy Northwest property. Energy Northwest's security team has the authority to search any vehicle on-site at any time.
Please do not use GPS to locate the Columbia Generating Station. The directions are not accurate.
Upon arrival, please use the phone provided in the lobby to call your department contact to meet you. If you are unable to reach the person you are calling, you may call the Human Resources general line at extension 5840.
Driving Directions
- From 1-182 West, take exit #4/Wellsian Way/Vantage onto Bypass Highway (WA-240W) toward Vantage. Continue north on Stevens Drive, which will turn into Route 4, for approximately 10 miles.
- Turn right at the Columbia Generating Station sign.
- Follow this access road to the Deschutes Building/Parking. Turn right into the Deschutes parking lot.
- The building entrance is right under the sign that says, "Energy Northwest" (across from the flagpole).
