Compensation & Benefits

Energy Northwest believes in the concept of pay-for-performance. Our policy is to compensate employees based on their contributions to accomplishing identified business goals.

We regularly conduct research and analysis of current and new compensation programs, as well as benchmarking of competitor practices. Our compensation policy is continuously reviewed to ensure that our pay strategies and practices are motivated by competitive salaries and other incentive rewards based on the individual’s ability to contribute to the success of the company.

Professional and Personal Development

We recognize the value of developing a workforce that grows through professional and personal development.  We strive to offer both external and in-house programs and opportunities that foster that growth. Each employee works with his or her supervisor to create an individual development plan. This document ensures that employees are active participants in attaining the knowledge and skills that will take them to the next level.

Our employees are highly qualified in their areas of expertise, and we strongly support maintaining and reinforcing those qualifications.  We offer a generous education assistance program to assist employees with certifications, licenses, continuing education, and technical/professional accreditations.

We support employee development through a number of avenues, including: an educational reimbursement program, an active chapter of the Leadership Development Association and a Succession Management program.
