Mark Crisson
Director of Utilities, Tacoma PowerTacoma, WA Mark Crisson was appointed to the Energy Northwest Board of Directors
in September 1991. He is recognized nationally and internationally for
his expertise and leadership on power issues. In 1993, Mr. Crisson was
appointed Director of Utilities by the Public Utility Board. He previously
served as Superintendent and various other positions with Tacoma Power.
Mr. Crisson is a member of the Electricity Advisory Board to the U.S.
Secretary of Energy. He served as Chair of the American Public Power Association
in 2002 and is a past Chair of the Large Public Power Council and the
Pacific Northwest Utilities Conference Committee. Mr. Crisson was Chair
of the Board of Directors of United Way of Pierce County in 2002-03 and
Campaign Chair in 1999. He serves on the boards of the Tacoma-Pierce County
Chamber of Commerce and the Tacoma-Pierce County Economic Development
Council. Mr. Crisson was recognized with a Tacoma Municipal League Distinguished
Citizen Award in 2002. He resides in Tacoma, Washington.
