Energy Northwest’s student programs offer exceptional educational and work experiences and competitive wages/stipends. Emphasis is placed on offering rewarding challenges and skilled department mentors to develop intern knowledge, skills, and professionalism. Assessment of program performance and personal accountability are key to ensuring success for the interns and Energy Northwest.
Seniors from area high schools can work up to 20 hours per week.
Note: The Inquiry Into Science (IIS) program is specifically for math and science students. Students must work with their school counselor for enrollment.
Students from Columbia Basin College or Washington State University/Tri-Cities must enroll with the institution of choice and contact the school directly for more information.
Internships are available to students from any accredited college or university during the summer. Students with majors aligned with the current needs of the company, who will be entering their junior or senior year of college and who have maintained a 2.8 GPA or higher are encouraged to apply.
Summer 2013 internships will be posted on our career opportunities page starting in January. Please apply as early as possible. Internships are usually filled by April 1st of each year.
